Face Feature Magnets

L loves playing with magnets and I've made tons of homemade magnets, so when I saw THESE, I knew he'd love them and they'd make a great homemade Christmas gift and fun addition to our magnet collection!

Since I can't draw AT ALL, I found lots of cool face features on google images, such as

I printed them out and then cut them out.
Then I stuck them onto sticky magnet sheets and cut them out again.

Here's a picture of them on the magnet sheets before I cut them out.

I put them in a tiny tin which is mostly round,
so if we travel he can also take them and use the tin as a face!

  1. Fun! This would be such a good busy bag activity! I donated all of my potato heads because I couldn't stand all of the bulk/parts ... but LO loves the appeal of making faces and I've been feeling guilty about giving them away (ha!). Great idea! My guy will be thrilled. :)

  4. Can you tell me what search words you used on Google images for finding the face features? love all the additional ones you have. Can you tell me what size your tin is that you put the pieces in, or give me an idea of about how big the pieces are? Did you have to resize any of them from google? I want to make one of these for my granddaughter for Christmas.

  5. I am wondering what words you used as well! I have searched and searched google and can't find these same features. Actually I can't find any that aren't watermarked :-( Help! LOL- I would love to add these to my preschool class' morning fine motor skills activities!
