Meet "Baby Son"!

"Baby Son" was born on August 8th...one week ago today!
It's pretty crazy that it's already been a week.

His birth story is pretty simple, though it wasn't without some complications.
At 39 weeks I had my scheduled csection

however, B's lungs were only developed at a 36 week level. So I was able to see him for a few seconds, kiss him and tell him I loved him and he was whisked away to the NICU where I didn't get to see him or hold him until 16 excruciatingly looooooong hours later! Every hour or so I had the nurse take my phone and take pictures of him to bring back to me.

Finally, we got to see and hold our little boy!
"Yay my mommy and daddy are here!"

and after lots of prayers by us, friends and family,
B was able to be off of oxygen and the feeding tube the next day!

and L finally met his baby brother!

Played doctor with mommy

and then we came home!

I still can't believe I am the mother of TWO beautiful little boys!
I'm exhausted, in pain, delerious, overwhelmed...

and totally in love!

oh
and today is my first day with my two boys...alone!
 EEEK! Wish me luck!
:)
