Buying our First Home!

Today was the first time I saw the "sold" sign at our new house and it made me super giddy!
We'll take the official family pic in front of the sold sign when i'm not wearing sweats and a pony tail lol.

Buying your first home--such a huge step in life that in my early twenties I couln't picture ever getting to. We'll, I never pictured being so happily married and content with life falling into place so early I guess you could say. God has really bestowed some amazing blessings on my family and I am so so very thankful!

Ok...the house.

This pic was taken early spring before everything was blooming and gorgeous!

Taken recently

My favorite part of the house is the yard, but my 2nd favorite part is the front door. It's so old world! That square in the middle opens up from the inside like a "what's the password?" kind of thing.
I'm a sucker for anything with a bit of enchantment to it.

It's going to be so hard not to ask people for the "password" when they come to the door. I guess i'll have to do it a few times to get it out of my system. haha

I love the kitchen but it's current scheme is blue, which just doesn't work for us.
As soon as we can, we'll be redoing the countertops in a grey granite.
I'm soooo loving the double built in ovens though.
and you can see the lake from the kitchen window!

Ok, i'm done. I'm just so excited about such a big step in my life! My husband is 16 years older than I so while he's really excited about this, this is his 3rd house to be buying so i'm sure it's more of a been there done that type of thing. This being my first, i'm like super duper excited and if I wasn't pregnant and my feet weren't swollen i'd be jumping up and down!
