Two Easy Christmas Crafts for Toddlers

Contruction Paper Christmas Tree                                                           Gumdrop Christmas Tree

The construction paper tree is obviously simple. I absolutely cannot draw so I found a tree outline on google images and printed it, cut it out, and then traced it onto the green construction paper. I gave L a big bowl of miscellaneous items, put glue dots all over the tree then let him create!

The gumdrop tree idea came from Jada Roo Can Do. So cute!
Attach the gumdrops to toothpicks and your child stick them into the tree form.
I don't really help L at all with his projects (its not about the end result, it's the process) so the whole tree didn't get covered but he loved poking them in and rearranging them!
With all the squishing going on, and the shedding of the tree foam, the gumdrops were unedible but no one in our house liked them anyway. haha.
